Stop the Bleed can be alone for $15 or added to the end of our usual first aid classes for this same fee.
Stop The Bleed Course - This is a hands on course where you receive a certificate at the end of class.
The American College of Surgeons' STOP THE BLEED® program is operated pursuant to a licensing agreement granted it by the Department of Defense.
Most STOP THE BLEED® courses last no more than 60 minutes. A formal presentation is followed by hands-on practice of applying direct pressure, learning how to raise and slow the bleeding of limbs, packing a wound, and using a tourniquet to stop bleeding. CPR Florida can also offer this at the end of a regular first aid class at this additional cost.
Learn the right steps of how to do:
- direct pressure
- pack a wound
- use a tourniquet
- apply a chest seal and control major life threatening bleeding.

If you need a Stop the Bleed or regular bloodborne pathogens traditional classroom course, email us at info@cprflorida.net and we can usually do it AFTER a regularly scheduled cpr and first aid class or do a private class.
